INSTRUCTIONS

WEEK 3 progress

We were instructed to choose a recipe video from Pasta Grannies on youtube to create a recipe infographic poster. I have chosen a chard and cheese pie recipe by Enrica.

Firstly, I began watching the video for a few times, and extracting the information for the infographic poster. 

Here are the full information extracted :

Granny's name : Enrica

Dish name : torta di genova (Cheese & Chard Pie)

Recipe :

1. Dough :

-500g of zero-zero flour.

- 2 pinch of salt.

- 50ml of extra virgin oil.

- 250ml of water.

process : 

1) kneads the dough for 20 mins.

2) cover it to let it rest for 30 mins.

2. Pie Filling :

Prussian Sewer Cheese

- ratio of 1 : 1 of ricotta cheese and plain yoghurt,

- 1 pinch of salt

- 1 tbsp of olive oil

- a little flour (for water absorption)

process : 

1) mix all ingredients well.

Chard

-750g of fresh swiss chard.

process : 

1) wash the chards.

2) remove all water.

3) chop the chards

4) add little bit of flour to absorb remaining water.

3. Pastry Making :

process : 

1) take out the rested dough (soft, stretchy)

2) divides dough into 3 equal pieces.

3) roll the 3 doughs until it is 1/2 cm in thickness..

4) toss the dough to stretch it with both hands.

5) grease a rounded pastry tin with oil.

6) place 1st stretched dough onto tin.

7) Add 300g of cheese mixture.

8) Place 2nd layer of stretched dough on top. Grease surface with oil.

9) Repeat step 8 with the 3rd layer of dough.

10) Trim excess dough on sides.

11) Brush surface with more olive oil.

12) Seal the pie by twisting the dough edges inwards.

13) Preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius / 350 degree Fahrenheit.

14) Bake for 45mins.

I thought of using Enrica's apron design for my poster's background.

After I completed the assets, I attempt to put in information. But, as a result, it looks messy, 

and I could not read the words clearly.
