Sonic Design Name : Chan Huei Lian (0351597) Sonic Design | Bachelor of Design in Creative Media | Taylor's University Assignment 2 : Audio Storytelling INSTRUCTIONS PROGRESSION Week 9 Folklore chosen : Hansel & Gretel Script Version 1 PDF : Week 10 Recording : I recorded the narration and dialogues in my room with my phone's voice recorder app and my earphone. After the recording is done, I converted the m4a files into wav files before compiling them into adobe audition for editing.  Editing : I manipulated the EQ, and also put in noise reduction process to reduce the noise. I also minimise the breathing sounds and background noise when in between sentences. The only part that I could not get rid of is the mic hissing sound when I pronounced letters such as 'b', 'p' etc.  For the witch laughing sound, I also add in some reverb to make it more eerie and dramatic. Advanced Animation Name : Chan Huei Lian (0351597) Advanced Animation | Bachelor of Design in Creative Media | Taylor's University Project 1 : Walk Cycle INSTRUCTIONS Week 6 Walk Cycle Animation - 8 Poses : Contact, down, pass, up, Contact (flipped), down, up, pass, Initial contact - Timing - 12 frames for per step to achieve natural walk. (2 in between frames for each pose.) Methods of Walk Cycle Animation - on the same spot. - progressively moving forward.   To have flipped pose for contact : After animating the first contact pose, go to frame 2 and select all the necessary bones and go to Pose > Copy pose > paste pose flipped. Then key the frame.
